This song makes me think of all the struggles I’ll put up with until I achieve my goals. Then everything will be a celebration of my success!
Going to use this as a journal for myself. I recently started on Stronglifts 5x5 about a week ago and dropped all my lifts to my 70% maximum for 5 reps. So I’ve been working my way up again. This is what I done today. Now to eat.
Squat: 20KG x 5 / 30KG x 5 / 47.5KG x 5 x 5 sets.
Overhead Press: 27.5KG x 5 x 5 sets.
Deadlift: 20KG x 5 / 30KG x 5 / 45KG x 5 x 1 set.
It’s been 40 days since I started training. Through all it, some has been good and some bad. The first two weeks were really adjusting and then I got really into training. My diet wasn’t the best but I tried to hit 3000 calories a day. Over the past week or so the lump on my neck was worrying me and I had zero motivation to train or eat. I went to the doctor today and it was a sebaceous cyst which is nothing to worry about. Regardless, diet is back on track and I’m going to train like hell. Still, I see a lot of definition in my shoulders and chest. Hopefully this month will improve on it a lot.

Hm, lately I’ve begun to question myself and my life. What do I want to do? I want to make games of course! My course teaches that (somewhat) but still I think if I was to dropout and do my own thing I’d learn a lot more. Regardless, I’ll continue with college just in-case my plan doesn’t go accordingly. I’ve also found a small pea-sized lump on my neck which is kind of annoying and worrying. I guess I’ll go to the GP this week and have it checked out, hopefully it won’t be anything too serious. I’m thinking it’s either a cyst, swollen lymph node or something else. I’ve had a bit of a phelmy-throat lately with a dry cough so maybe the lymph node has become infected. Either way I’m no doctor so I’ll leave it to the professionals. I think today I’ll do some coding and then pixel art later.

Been training for a month now with good diet. Up 4KG and down some bodyfat. Starting Stronglifts 5x5 on Wed as my current program is a bit iffy!

Leaving for Belfast in about 2 hours and still haven’t packed. Looking forward to seeing some faces though. Long journey ahead of me but hopefully it’ll all be worth it. All coursework and exams done, really pleased with them. I love my course but I need to start paying more attention in lectures and reviewing my material next term. Other than that, everything is good (bar this 5 hour journey I gotta go on). If you’re wondering why. Well I’ve to get a 1 hour and 20 minute train to Manchester Airport and then I’ve to wait around for 3 hours to check-in and stuff. Then an hour flight and a 15 minute taxi home. Anyway, best get it done now! Christmas soon! Excited :)
Late night programming is not the one but strangely it is relaxing. Behind all this variables, these integers, characters, strings and various other things, I am entranced. I’ve no idea what I’m even writing. Maybe it’s time for bed?
